“I needed to host a relatively impromptu dinner for 15 (extended family) right before Xmas 2023. We chose Kinzie Street Chophouse and we were extremely pleased. Two days before I got a quick tour of the private rooms. Picked the “north” room which was perfect - great setting with nice size table not just a long thin narrow table. The table size made it feel like a real occasion and space, not just slapped together four tops sharing tablecloths. Service was very strong. We sat at 510 needing to leave at 650 for a 730 show. Servers totally understood and moved swiftly and perfectly. My biggest concern was getting my group out on times, and the restaurant was awesome in helping us move along. Gracious and hospitable servers. Food was excellent. Steaks were great. Truffle mashed potatoes were nice - not too much truffle which was refreshing. A “DIY” bruschetta app was outstanding. Lots of other great menu items. Overall, really great experience for my group.”
