Husband and wife team Nicole Flevaris and Andreas Tsakonas are the co-owners of Kinzie Chophouse, a classic Chicago steakhouse that reflects their shared heritage of Greek hospitality. Since assuming ownership in 2019, they have carried forward Kinzie’s independent, woman-owned legacy while bringing new energy to the menu, the space, and the overall guest experience.

A Chicago native with an innate sense of hospitality and a talent for building lasting connections, Nicole brings a strong background in business and brand leadership. After earning her MBA at just 23, she founded The Lashe, Inc., a successful beauty brand and salon built on trust and personal service. It was through that same spirit of connection that she met Kinzie’s longtime owner, who later entrusted her and Andreas to continue the restaurant’s legacy.

Born and raised in Nafplio, Greece, Andreas has spent more than 25 years in the restaurant industry, owning and operating several acclaimed restaurants and bars before moving to the United States. Hospitality runs deep in his DNA, shaped by the Greek values of warmth, generosity, and connection.

Together, Nicole and Andreas blend their complementary strengths to shape every part of the Kinzie experience. Andreas works closely with the kitchen to uphold culinary excellence, while Nicole oversees finance, marketing, and guest relations. Their partnership reflects the balance at the heart of Kinzie itself: classic yet current, refined yet welcoming, and unmistakably Chicago.
